    Default where is my crank position sensor?

    Howdy. Please help... code reader tells me crank position sensor is faulting. There is an electrical component on timing cover by balancer, but that is cam sensor. I am guessing it is on backside of crank (towards trans.)
    2001 2500 Suburban 4x4, 8.1
    Anyone know for sure?
