07 Silverado Carpet
This is my first post here and I could really use some help if y'all can.
I am currently deployed to Iraq and my wife's friend spilled orange soda on the carpet in the back of my 07 Silverado NBS extended cab. We have tried every cleaning solution available along with taken it in to get steam cleaned and nothing will take the stain out so now we are looking at replacing the carpet. Estimates are almost $600 for the repair and install but I can buy the carpet and have it shipped to my house for under $200. Problem is that since I am not home to see what all needs to be pulled out I can't determine if the work is doable by me or if I would be better of shelling out the cash to have them do the swap for me. I should be home by the end of next month but if I am going to have the dealership do it I would like to have it done before I get home. If anyone has any knowledge on what is involved when replacing the carpet on these trucks I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

aboard and Thanks for your Service. If you buy the carpet made for that make and model you should be able to swap it yourself without paying a dealer.Morgan
