The first large SUV I remember my dad having when I was a kid was a Suburban.

Hmm, well, actually it was a '66 International Scout that he dropped a 350 in. Next, it was a '68 Chevy Station Wagon that he put a hot 327 from a Corvette. Then it was an International Travelall. THEN it was the Suburban.

The Burban was the best vehicle by far. We did everything in that vehicle from tow a trailer, tow a boat, go camping with our gear in the back.

    Welcome aboard.

They really are the end all do all vehicle aren't they.

We have had one since 90 and just upgraded to a newer 94 a few years ago.

I always wondered what people needed the roof racks on these monsters until a friend asked me to help move 6 matresses, just tied them to roof racks and we were off.

I have never before or since needed to use them but if you need room this is the vehicle for you.

    Enjoy

Thanks for the welcome guys! I did have a Suburban a few years ago it was a 89 and it finally left me with 168,000 on it and the frame was rotted bad and during rain days the rear quarters were so gomne that I would get water inside the back Gotta love that. I am looking for a used 05 or 06 Z71 in silver or grey. I like the Z71's and am kinda stuck till then. I will post up when Baby or truck comes and again thanks for the warm welcomes!!
