Thread: burning oil

    Default burning oil

    i have an 86 chevy c10 that just started blowing blue smoke from the exhaust. what would be the best tempory fix? heavier weight oil with stabilizer?

    Thats what i was exactly gona recomend. A 15w-40 or 20w-50 weight oil with some Lucas Oil Stabilizer will help you out some and is a great temporary fix until you can rebuild.
