    hi everyone..i just bought a 2003 chevy suburban 2500 with a 8.1 L BBC..the truck is awesome and i luv it...only drawback is the gas mileage

    Anyways its very comfortable,has a magnaflow exaust,airbox already...

    You got a ¾ ton Burb and you are concerned about mileage, I bet it’s 4 wheel drive to?

    Sorry but these are not known for being great on gas.

    They are known for being able to haul anything you will ever need to haul.

    My friend has the same Suburban as yours, and the same complaint. He really hates it when we tow our rock crawlers to Arkansas. My 97 7.4 2500 has no problem keeping up with his and gets better mileage doing it. Get used to the MPG, there arent any tricks to make it better. Ya gotta take the good with the bad.

    Hey Paul,
    Just curious what engine you have in the malibu?
    I'm just imagining your specs on the malibu:
    1500hp @ 5400rpm
    300hp @ 0rpm (engine off)
