Default Leveling kit, how bad for my front end?

    Hi,

I have an '07 4x4 ext cab new style v-max. I have been thinking of installing a spacer leveling kit. How bad is a leveling kit for my front end and how much extra stress and strain will it cause? What are the pros and cons of top vs. bottom spacers?

    Thanks

Well as with any lift for the front end of your truck, it causes your front end components to operate at steeper angles, such as your ball joints and CV joints. This will shorten their life. But not to worry, with a leveling kit and average use to your truck, you'll still get many years of use before you have front end problems.
