parking light. Need help
This question is for my fathers 03 chevy avalanche, It seems that the passenger side rear parking light does not work. the brake and blinker work fine, and all the other parking lights work. checked the fuses and relay and there all in good shape. I was hearing about a cuircit board under the passenger side of the body could be at fault. not sure any help will be great.

Before anything, did you try a different bulb in there? Those are dual-filament blubs, where the parking light filament could have burned out and the brake and signal light would still work. If it is not the bulb, the first thing I would check is the wiring near the light (brown wire), and the junction box that would probably somewhere toward the back of the truck and mounted underneath it. I wouldn't expect the junction box to have a high failure rate though, since it is just a box that the main lighting harness plugs into, then the harnesses to the lights plug in from there. I'm not sure if an avalanche would have it though, since the only purpose the one on my truck would really serve is to make it easier to remove the bed.
