    Default Help

    ok people, i need help!!

i need to fix my truck today

this morning my truck just died.. i was driving along and then i press the gas more down and my truck just dies..

once i'm off to the side of the road i try to re-start the truck and it just turns over.. (cranking) acting like it wants to start up but something is stopping it from starting

i know its not the battery, the alt, starter... but what could stop it from starting???????

does the fuel pumps go out often on these trucks??

maybe a sensor keeping it from starting?

you guys got any ideas that i should be looking at?????

    any help please!!!

Well, you came to the right place. It could be any number of things. Take a look at this article for example:

First, what are the specifics of your truck? Year, model, engine, miles, etc.

Fuel pumps have been a known issue on these vehicles, but I would check the easiest things first, and hope it's not the fuel pump.

For starters what can you tell us about the truck other than it's a truck?
Year? Engine? mileage? last known work done to it?
Any symptoms leading up to this? hesitation, knocking, stalling?
    Check engine light on?
