Dead battery/PDL/trailer wiring
Well, I went fishing and parked my truck for two nights. Got back to the vehicle and the fob didn't work. Unlocked manually, tried to start the truck and needed a boost. Now the PDL's don't lock when shifted into gear, they lock when the truck is started. Third, my trailer wiring works except brake lights. All a little too coincidental
I can accept some contact cleaner on the wiring harness but everything else is just weird. I didn't leave anything on to drain the battery...even unplugged the satellite radio.

Hmm. I went camping Memorial weekend, truck sat for 2 days and almost died. I got it to start on the third try...and immediately noticed my truck going bonkers. RPM's were at zero when driving, service Stabilitrak code came on, service Traction Control came on, truck was shifting HARD, all coincidental with the near dead battery. Had a 2 hour drive home and was bummed the whole way...until I stopped for gas after 1 1/2 hours. Stopped the truck, turned it on & all the codes had cleared and the RPM's were functioning normal. Drove home & the tranny was still shifting hard. Was going to reprogram my superchip but drove it around the block and it was back in normal operating condition. My battery is strong...don't know what the deal is but give it some time, it may correct itself. A couple months ago I went to Mexico for 2 weeks, left the truck sitting and had no problems. I have no idea what caused the battery to fritz after just 2 days...but whatever it was, all is back to normal. Good luck with your truck.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Funny, I wonder if it's a model year bug (yours is an 07 as well). My dealer wants $120.00 to inspect it...nuts to that. It's only locks!!! Still annoying though...thanks.

You could be able to re-program when the PDL works, do you have the DIC?
If you loose enough power to the computer some functions could reset to a default setting. Same w/ engine management systems 'cept 'drive cycles' will re-map them...Still Loyal to GM after all these years...:shocked:
