    Default cranking up torsion bars?

i recently put a 3 inch body lift in my 97 gmc ext cab 4x4, i put 33x12.50x15 tires on it and the tires still rub a little when i turn them all the way is there any way to crank up the torsion bars enough to stop the rubbing cause the 33's on it now are just about bald and i know if i put new ones on they will rub even worse any help would be great thanks.

Are you asking how to do it or if it's possible? Don't know how much lift you'll gain on truck that old, but it's worth adjusting them and seeing what you get. Just jack up the front end (wheels off the ground) and tighten the torsion key bolts an equal number of turns. Don't worry if the bolts are turned in different amounts, most trucks are this way, it's due to the bars not being exactly identical. It's best to be on a flat level surface (garage floor) Take measurements before and after so you can see how far it moved.

Well I'm just trying to find out if I'll get the little bit of clearance I need to run the 33's if I get new ones the rims I have on there have alot of offset they stick around three inches past fenders would that have something to do with the rubbing
