Default Cleaning the Throttle Body on a 03 Silverado?

I have searched old threads but still not sure...

My 03 Silverado 2WD 5.3 must be "drive by wire" , so is it OK to manually open the butterfly in the TB to clean it or will that screw it up if I open it up?

The reason I say it must be drive by wire is I can not find a IAC or a throttle cable.

I am trying to resolve a very low, stumbling idle condition, thanks for any help.

    Happy 4th of July

If you clean it on the truck just have someone turn the key to on but dont start and have them press the pedal down while you spray it with cleaner. If you do take it of the truck you can push it open with your fingers and clean. Dont hold it open with anything sharp or hard so you dont scratch it.
