Read this before posting - Information needed to provide help
New users often don't give enough information for other board members to offer advice or suggestions.
To get help faster, please do the following in the USER CP at the top of the screen.
- Use Good SUBJECT LINES
DO NOT one-word subject lines, or non-descriptive subject lines
"HELP" (help what?)
"Question?" (Question about what?)
DO use subject lines that are longer and more descriptive.
"2002 Trailblazer is stuck in park" (very descriptive)
"2008 Chevy Suburban tire questions" (year, make, model, and issue)
"'95 GMC Vandura Explorer Poor MPG" (subject makes clear what the topic is about)
- Provide specific information about your problem.
Include vehicle year, make and model. Also, post your location, engine type, mileage, length of problem, history of vehicle, and all other relevant information.
DO NOT post something like this.
My SUV just stopped running. Can someone help me?
DO POST something like this that is more descriptive.
My 2002 Chevy Trailblazer wouldn't start this morning. It's got 95,000 miles and I just tuned up the 4.2L engine last month. The battery is 6 months old and I haven't had any problems with anything since I've owned it. I just moved from New York (where I bought the vehicle new) to San Antonio about 6 months ago. Any suggestions on where to look?
- Fill out basic information about yourself and your vehicles in the User Control Panel (User CP).
