Thread: Candy Paint
08-03-2010, 06:19 PM #1
I am going to be getting my truck painted in a couple of week and my father in law is going to do it for me. He came up with a awesome design. I want to see if you guys can picture this in your head and tell me what you think. I am in love with the idea.
Its going to be a two tone, with black on top. Then below that its going to start out candy orange and very subtly fade down to a candy red at the bottom. Then to split the body line hes going to do a candy tribal flame either a blue or green. I think its going to be beautiful.
Oh, and by the way my truck was accepted into the Turkey run in Daytona on Thanksgiving. I am so fricken excited!!
Tell me what you think
P.S the best thing about the paint job is I only have to pay for paint, hardeners, and clear.2004 Silverado

The black on top sounds good and either the candy orange or candy red. I won't do the fade.

The fade is going to be so subtle you wont be able to tell unless you really look hard
