    Default 93 Suburban Rear End

I have a 1993 GMC Suburban 4x4 1500 5.7 with a bad rear rear end - 3.73 (GT4). In replacing the entire rear end with a used unit, does it have to come from a 4x4 or can it be a 3.73 from a 4x2?

You will want it from a 4X4 so you dont have to carry 2 different rims/tires for the front/rear axle. The 4X2 version is a 5lug rim, and the 4X4 is a 6lug rim.. Otherwise you would be able to...
