    Default R134a A/C conversion

I believe my compressor is shot. Vibes when clutch is engaged and almost kills the engine when at idle.

I am planning on replacing the compressor and all associated parts for the 134a conversion.

Has anyone done this before and have some lessons learned?

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Flush the lines to get out all the contaminates, and any metal shavings that your failing compressor put out!!!! and replace the accumulator, and the Orfice tube when you do the conversion and all the assocciated O-rings and seals. BE sure to use the proper oil.
Otherwise about as straight forward as it can get..

Every thing you will need as far as oil/orings/charging ports ect you can buy at the local parts store.Plus while you are there have them give you a price on the compressor/orfice tube and accumulator.Might get a deal on the whole thing
