High Flow Dry Filter
Does any one know who makes a drop in High Flow dry air filter that fits an 05 Z71 with a 5.3 ?

Yup, a company called AFE makes one, its called Pro Dry S part #31-10004

X2 on AFE Pro Dry S. I got this drop in filter and I am very pleased with it.
