Hi all. I like to look at others trucks and what they are doing to them. I seem to end up hauling heavy loads and doing a fair amount of trailering. So i got this 1983 1 ton dually. It needs a lot of little work and repairs. I recently got a 1983 3/4 diesel truck with very good sheet metal. Swaping the entire front clip to the 1 ton. The 6.2 engine is in good shape except for the injection pumps are shot. Will be selling the 6.2 soon. And will make a pickup bed trailer with whats left. The crew cab will end up getting sold for scrap. Believe me, i've stripped it of everything of value and will have spare parts for the 1 ton. So, there you go. I'll be hitting various forums with related questions. See ya there.

Hi Mike, and welcome to the GMTC. Sounds like quite a project you've got going on. It would be nice to see pics of before, during, and after all your hard work! Good luck with it all. I hope you find yourself some good information here.
