    Default Strong fuel Smell

    After driving during the afternoon.
I seem to smell gas outside my suburban at the rear.
And from what i checked there's no leak.
    Any Clue

Sounds like a vent hose then but the pcm monitors the tank and will throw a light if it gets worse

Id think the same thing. Seeing as it has been so friggin hot the fuel vapors are going to be higher right now.

It could be a bad gasket on the fuel cap or a vent hose on the frame rail where it goes from rubber to metal. The ODB II system does monitor the vapor system on the fuel tank and if the cap is left off after fueling will set the check engine light but only a soft code. Check the cap it is the most common problem and the vapor recovery won't always catch it (no light)
