    Default 2008 HHR Broken Again

Once again I had to put my wife's HHR in the shop again, first it had bad rotors from the word go (I bought it second hand with no warranty) Replaced rotors and pads, cheap pads from Advanced Auto had to get good ones from NAPA, Then was the problem with the wheel bearings, had both sides replaced at 37k miles. Next the ignition switch goes out and had to replace the entire tree on the steering column (once again no warranty). Then a sensor goes out preventing the car from starting yet another trip to the shop. Now the cat-crapper-converter is out (thank goodness itís covered under warranty) but itís gonna take a month for it to be fixed because itís on a nation wide back-order. I ask the dealer what am I suppose to do and they tell me just drive it until it comes in. In the mean time the POS is pumping exhaust fumes into the car. Isnít life just grandÖÖ.

I want to know how many miles too.

Was the first owner a rental car agency by any chance? Sounds like it got beat on for a couple of years.

Wow we've had my wifes 2008 HHR since Sept 2007 and put 32K on it. We've yet to have any mechanical problems and I hope it doesnt start acting like yours.
    Good luck.

Well now the car is fixed once again thanks to GM customer service. The dealer told me that the part was on a nation wide back order and that I should drive the car like that until the part came in. I called GM customer service and they tracked down the part and had to the dealership within 48 hrs. Car was fixed under warranty thanks to a govermental mandated 8yr 80k mile emissions warranty it was fixed for free and down the road it goes nice and quite again. THANKS GM
