Use aftermarked sources, they have cool enough accessories for good look. Actually, grill is not the stuff I'd love to change in the nearest future, but guess I will take custom grill and repaint it. Search the web: nofear, ebay, carid... lots of them Here's section on silverado grills from carid as an example: http://www.carid.com/chevy-silverado-grill/ Anyway, after third fourth onlone source you'll make up your mind. Or not;)

    Even a bit cheaper

This is exactly what I have been looking for, but have had some pretty bad experiences with aftermarket parts from ebay:

Keep finding more, figure I will just post them as I always enjoy when people do the hunt work for me.

you could get really adventurous, take your measurements to junk-yard, find any grill you like from any vehicle, cut/adjust/insert/brace for fit, then paint gloss black. This option, though 1/2 day-job, would cost very little----I would think maybe 50 bucks----just an idea

I dunno how you guys do things in Canada, but that seems rather ridiculous to me. If anything, (which I have thought of before) get a used NBS grill, cut out the horizontal line and form/epoxy the 2 small pieces where the horizontal bar met the vertical ends. Paint and then insert whatever center material you need. I may end up doing this seeing grills are so expensive. I build cars and bikes for a living and can fab up whatever my mind can imagine (pending its physically possible) If anyone would like to donate or sell a nbs grill for cheap, I'd be more than willing to make one post pictures etc and possibly even make to sell them to customers needs. I passed up a used grill as a local swap meet last week (last swap of the year and it was only $40) Who knows what i'll end up doing for a grill. I know the oem grill with a black emblem isnt cutting it.

You're awfully handy, Unbelievable. First a sub enclosure and now a grille. I'm excited to see how both pan out. In the end, I would much rather spend time and effort rather than money to get what I want. I hope you have the best of luck with all of the fabrication projects you have in mind.

And by the way, I have the exact same opinion in regards to aftermarket parts from Ebay.... Rarely works out well.
