We have a trailblazer and love it! It has around 45k miles on it and haven't had a single problem... Soem of the trailblazers have 3rd row seating but mine does not... My wife drives it mostly and the stabilitrak and 4wd system is awesome in the winter time! Hope this helps.

Make sure and get the 4.2. You can't go wrong with a good old-fashioned straight-6! :D

They seem to be a good solid truck when my wife and I were looking at them. And i agree with the I-6 being the better motor. Unless you can get one with a 5.3L

A buddy of mine has a 2001-straight 6-80,000 miles- no problems. He gets 25 mpg hy at 65 mph.

The extended one(204 inches instead of 192") can have 3 rows I think-it also frequently comes with the 5.3 usually.Given a choice I would be tempted to get the 5.3, but the 6 has been good.

Wife has '05 2wd short wheelbase, 4.2 motor with over 72,000 miles. Has original battery. We replaced the alternater about 2 years ago, other than that its been a great truck. Gets 22city, 26 highway.
