    Default 4L60e Shift solenoid?

My Transmission sometimes cant make up its mind. I changed the fluid. It looked like it was suposed to and didnt smell burnt at all.. So I added some lucas and its still shifts funny. Some times Ill give it a little gas and it will shift down to 2nd. and some times Ill floor it and it will only kickdown to 3rd. At 55mph it continues to shift up and down, up and down. Im wondering if it might be the shift solenoid..

Have you taken a look at your Throttle position sensor? You may want to do a sweep test (search the forums i have written a bunch of write ups and so have others on how to complete this)
Als what year make model is your truck will help with the problem as well..
