Default Removing passenger power mirror on 2000 Yukon

Does the triangular piece on the back of the mirror come off to access the bolts or does the whole door panel need to come off?

Both need to come off. The mirror plugs into the door switch. Theres a tutorial on here somewhere that shows you how to take the door panel off.
