I worked the midnight shift for a contracted security company for 3 years until last spring before being laid off due to obamas lovely defense budget cutbacks.Ive also been in the Alabama national guard for 3 1/2 years as military police.Luckily the unit deployed to Iraq right after I was laid off so the money is still coming in..Im hoping to get a job with one of the local police departments or county sheriff when i get home next year

Joined the Local 9999999 Unemployed union last March 31st.

Before that I was a Operator and Mechanic Trainer, also Operator and Service Manual writer for a Major Bucket truck manufacturer until they eliminated my job.
The bad part is I was injured on the Job back in 2002 and have a lifting limit of 25 lbs, So it makes it hard to find any job now.

Been building a 1926 T Hot Rat Rod to keep my sanity.

I have two small (one person - me) businesses: I sell auto paint and body supplies, and I do accounting and taxes.
