Default Just bought a burban.. New guy...

So i recently purchased a Suburban, mainly to plow and i have a need to mod it.

I'm not new to modifying things, Ive been modding cars since 98, however they've mostly been BMW's. I bought it because it can perform double duty for me. It can plow my property as well as carry people.

Its a 94 2500 suburban in dark blue 154k miles picked it up for $2,000. As far as i am aware it has the big brake package etc etc.. Oh yea, it has roll up windows this is definitely a no frills vehicle.

Pics to follow as i get some time.

HAHA.. Well there was only one model of 350 in 1988-1995.. it was just a simply plain jane 350, 5.7L V-8 with TBI.
And to find out more you can look up your RPO codes, to find out the gear ratio, and what options it came with from the factory. Your RPO sticker is in the glove box.

Well your axle ratio is a 4.10 (GT5), open no locker (a locker would have a G80 code as well). OTherwise you can also google them or a GM RPO decoder. If you search for a VIN decoder (there are several on this site. I believe in General Q&A.)

    Welcome aboard.

That's a fine looking ride, and low miles, too! The folks here will get you through your questions, and I'll start with the next answer: Krylon is cheaper than 20" polished anything;)

    Good luck,
