Default 2009 3500 gas Tranny Fried at only 110km!!!!!

get that one, atleast its still covered under the warranty. they said it would be about $5000 otherwise!!! awsome, great deal atleast you guys are taking care of the tab is what I told them. Trucks tranny was never right from the day I left the lot with it and .2km on it, took it back to them when I first got it and they told me just keep driving it, its under warranty, so I did and now I have no truck for three days. no worries its only my work truck, not like I need to make money, what a joke.

these truck are definetly not the same quality as my 03 was, way more of a plastic feel to it.

The tranny should have been caught, or at least noted on the PDI but sometimes they curbstone that stuff.
When you took it back to the dealer (the first time) & told them about it, did they check anything then, or did they just arbitraily tell you to go drive it??

The service manager himself took it for a drive the first time I went in about the tranny, he said there was a problem but just drive it. He didnt note anything in the computer about it either. now I go back and theres a differnt guy!!

OH YA the 110km is only in a year and a half, I bought the new truck thinking that I wouldnt need any major repairs in a year atleast but I guess I was wrong.

Well that is the thing with all cars, there is an "acceptable" failure % rate. and at least it was under warranty mine failed 2K miles outside of the warranty...
