    Default PCM damage ?? Help

I have 97 K1500 and have a P0753 code which is for the second gear solenoid wiring. The tranny shifts beautyfully. I noticed the engine light came very soon after I had a loose positive battery cable. Is it possible that the loose cable could have damaged the PCM or its programming ? Would a flash reprogram correct the problem ? Thr dealer said they replaced the solenoid under warranty (Certa tranny) but trouble code returned. They said it was something internal to PCM.

Im not 100% but if it is something internal i would go with a new PCM to rule out and shots etc.
