Angry Slow equals : No Go !

Any ideas on why my 1999 gmc jimmy 4.3 V6 STL tends to stall when i come up to a stop by letting it roll to a stop instead of applying the brakes ? New fuel filter, IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) , air filter , Coil ,Oil & Filter . Runs fine until i try to come to a rolling stop, engine quits every time .
It seems too me that the IACV would have been the culprit , but , nope ..new one didn't cure the stalling .

Have you run a sweep test on the TPS?? Also when was the last time that you did a cap and rotor? most of us with the Vortecs tend to do them yearly or so since the moisture can build up and destroy them. That is where i would start. Also a Fuel Filter if you havent done one in the last 15K or so miles.
Also is the Check engine light on? if it is when you get to the parts store borrow their code reader and get any codes that the computer may be putting out and we can go from there as well.

Yah ..I had a P0410 and put in a new Idle Air Control Valve that cured that little problem . Your moisture suggestion is in the right direction , but , it seems that I need to replace the Air Injection System Pump ( when i find it ) and the hose ..and reroute the intake hose up to the right panel where it wont pick up moisture .
Gotta get around to the cap & rotor ...yeup .
New rotors , brake pads ,(front & back) emergency brakes ,Tires , coil, fuel filter , air filter , IACV and maybe something i forgot about
