    Default Fuel tank size on 88 silverado stepside

    Just wondering so I can figure my MPG. I just topped the tank of and need to figure this.

    Tank should be 26 gallons but you dont figure your milage based on the tanks size, you go by how many miles you drove to how many gallons you burned (added to the tank when you filled up after the miles driven)... Otherwise you will always have a number that is much lower than actual.
