Default My $500 86 Suburban project

I picked up this Suburban back in May for $500. Someone took out the 350 and the 700r4 and put in a 327 & th350 out of a 68 Vette. It wouldn't start when I got it, because the timing was off a notch. So I fixed that changed the pulgs and wires and it fired right up. It already had Edelbrock intake, carb, and headers on it when I got it. It needs some work but it runs great. I have already taken it to Nebraska and back with no problems.
This is about what it looked like when I got it...

I have put on new tires and cleaned up the rims...

    Custom speakers in the doors

    Indash DVD player...

    Installed two Boston G5 subwoofers...

    Built a custom box...

Two 13" screens and a 7" in front

    Shifter...

    Phantom Grill...

My end plans are to turn it into a caddy...

Yesterday I lowered the front with a set of Ground Force 3" drop springs

I'm still debeting on lowering the rear.

I still need to do the caddy taillights, fix the front seats, one piece windows in front, custom door handles and paint it. there are other little things I am going to do like a Black Ash wood grain on the dash and doors. I want to do four 15" Boston subs in it.

For $500.00 you did great. The mods so far look good. I would only lower the rear 1", I'd leave a little front rake. JMO.

I work at a stereo shop here in Albuquerque called Mesa Radio. I have been doing car audio for 15 years the last 5 at a real shop.

When i got the truck it needed the headliner redone so when i had it all apart i wired it for the drop downs and add mdf to mount to.

So i went today and bought the parts i need to do the axe flip.
