Exclamation Here's what I did! Did I do ok?

I traded my '96 3/4 ton last night after 168K miles & a very questionable transmission situation.
I bought an '03 Yukon XL SLT w/4x4 & all the bell & whistles except Quadsteer (@ a dealership). The truck is a 1/2 ton & has 61K miles. Now here's where I would like everyones brutally honest feedback. I paid $19,900 (before trade)... did I do ok? If I screwed up don't sugar coat it for me. At least I'll know better next time around. Now I'm off to change my signature!

I just went on a few sites doesn't seem bad to me. Looks like your right in the middle. Nice score. Did you get the GM goodwrench (Used warranty)?
Oh ya post some pictures. I'd like to see it!

No warranty. According to KBB, NADA & Edmunds I came in under retail. These sites are set up for bankers though, so I dont' always put a lot of stock in the #'s they give back. I'm really intrested in how my #'s compare to those of others who have purchased in the past year or so.
I felt like the price was fair. You know how it is.... you always feeling a little dirty and cheap when you leave a dealership. Although, I have to hand it to these guys they seemed pretty straight forward and honest (which makes me question them even more if you know what I mean). I'll try to post some pics next week if I can figure out how.

The numbers look ok to me. Doesnt sound like the deal of the century, but it's not a horrible deal either considering you've got a good vehicle with average miles, and a lot of options. There can be win-win situations. I looked up several on the web and they're all around the 19500-21000 range, including those that are 2wd w/o all the features.

Post some pics, how it looks matters too.

Thx Steve. She looks great... smoke grey color. One ding only as best I can tell. And the condition inside is excellent as well. I'll do my best to post some pics. But any feedback the rest of you have will be welcome.

    Congrats on the trade up!

Sounds to me like you made out like a bandit. I wouldn't be concerned at all. You did great!
