    Default Totalled the Trailblazer today

Sad day, hard to believe what that Trailblazer has been through but she's not going to survive this one.

The good news is that it doesn't look like anyone was really hurt. I had my five-year old with me and we walked away, shaken, but we walked away.

This was a very bizzare multi-vehicle collision, one of many becuase of the rain-slicked roads. I was driving under the speed limits becuase of the wet roadd and I was keeping aware of the traffic around me. It all happened so fast that I'm really not sure what happened. I got hit by two or three cars and I think I hit one or maybe two cars myself. I'm not even sure who's at fault for what.

I'm sore, but really not all that sore considering how much of an impact we had. I guess the physics of it are that we took glancing blows to the front and rear of the Trailblazer, and she's pretty sturdy as built to absorb the energy. We all walked away.

Anyhow, I've got a picture or two from my phone that I'll try to see if I can upload. Not a good day, but we're home and feeling ok.

Yeah, no one got a ticket in this case. I'm going to hold tight until I figure out what happened. I was spun around so even though I was in the middle of everything, I'm not sure who hit who. It felt to me like I got nudged from behind and I fishtailed, but I'm not sure that I can prove that because no one in that lane stopped. In any case I'm pretty beat and sore and I'll just have to figure out what new vehicle to end up getting to replace this.

Glad to hear your daughter and you are okay...trucks can be replaced. No matter how carefully you drive, there is always that one driver on the road that you can't account for.
