Default starts, idles rough, then dies when I give it throttle.

96 cheyy tahoe 4x4 5.7l truck has starting issues that annoyed me daily. Now, when started, will idle rough in neutral or park, even rougher in gear & dies when i give it some gas. stalls at about 100 rpms. in neutral or park, if I give it gas gradually I can rev the engine but soon as I try reverse or drive, stalls out right away. i realize the timing is off but this is more than that. had a buddy do a scan & came up with 5 error codes;1. p0302(cyl 2 misfiring),2. p1022 (throttle pedal position sensor intermitten), 3. p0339 (crankshaft position sensor intermitten),4. p1351 (icm circuit high), 5. p0430 (catalyst system below threshold bank2). 2,3, & 4 seem like they can be related. My gas gauge also started doing the spins about the same time this started. Things I can likely rule out as the problem are ; The spark plugs & cables are brand new, so is the crank shaft position senor. The ignition coil, icm, distributor cap & starter are less than 4 months old. Checked the TPS with a voltmeter per my haynes book. MAP sensor also seemed to be acceptable. confirmed the throttle cable itself & throttle body are functioning. I'm thinking it could be related to the fuel tank pressure sensor Or the fuel pressure regulator or some other module that sends a signal to the vcm. any ideas?

A leaking intake gasket could cause the rough idle / stall as well. The TPS could cause this as well.

You need to check the fuel pressure and confirm that you have at least 55PSI. If not the fuel pump module is shot, and needs to be replaced.
Another way to test the TPS is via a sweep test and there are several threads here on the site that cover that. And the timing being off can cause all of these issues.
