Default 1st time truck owner in Massachusetts

Just introducing myself, go by the name of Chops... I am here for info on truck(specifically Silverados) I just purchased my first truck. 2010 Silverado crew cab LT... I am looking to start doing a few small mods and wanted to join a forum.

    I also belong to:
    VWVORTEX (VW based site)
    XLFORUM.net(Harley Sporster site)
    and HDFORUMS

I work on motorcycles (customizing and hard tailing bikes) and water cooled VW's.

So with that said, not new to the forum style sites. Been a member of the above for quite some years now. So depending on the type of crowd here I guess I will see how I get greeted and or how active this site is in comparison to the others. Like I said, this truck business is very new to me. I've never owned a truck before, but there are some things I want to change.

First thing I want to accomplish:

Front leveling kit, I see a lot of different companies... Feel free to chime in if you have opinions of any specific vendors. Ofcourse I will use the search function, but still feel free to host your personal preference or other options if the exist. Pros/cons??

So hello from Massachusetts, hope to learn a few things here and maybe even teach someone else a thing or 2.

I am located way up north on the NH border. Haverhill to be exact, don't believe I have ever even heard of Indian orchard MA

Thanks for all the other greetings, hope to learn a few things from the site and start getting my truck the way I would like it. Not looking to go crazy with it, like I said above... I want to start out with the leveling kit and from there I plan to start shopping for some different wheels and rubber for when the factory tires have no life left. Other than than, I will be doing small bits here and there. Or I will get sucked in and give the thing a complete over haul hahaha, who knows!?

Anyone have a recommendation for the minimum amount of weight for a tow hitch?? I don't plan to tow anything larger than a vehicle on a trailer... The truck was not equipped with one from the factory, I noticed a Reese hitch at Walmart for around $30 with a max of like 3500 lbs. Think it was a class B ?? I would like to get the hitch on there and have a 3 ball attachment in the truck so I am prepared if I need to tow.
