    Default Flowmaster Super44 Exhuast

Just got a Flowmaster Super44 exhaust system installed, did duals from the cat back straight out. Sounds amazing but looks like crap. Really unhappy with the looks and it's my own fault.

Considering cutting off a few inches for now and getting turn down tips put on or should I just cut the pipes off and do turndowns right at the muffler?

That depends on what it is that you don't like about it. Do you not like them as far as the distance they stick out or what? You didn't say why you think they look like crap.

Sorry bout that. Yeah I don't like the way they are spaced apart or the way they are jutting out the back. I'm thinking of trimming off maybe 6 inches off the back just to make it less obvious. Maybe have an angled sideways n down set of tips put on them to give it a decent look.

Or I'm considering just doing cutoffs at the muffler and getting turndowns. I know it will be louder and that's okay

("Or I'm considering just doing cutoffs at the muffler and getting turndowns")

Sometimes when they exit under the vehicle they tend to drone. Not just loud, but a brain rattling drone when you do a lot of hwy driving it could drive you nuts. Be sure & save your cutoff pieces so you can weld them back on if this happens.

Apart from the looks that you don't like, how is the performance? Any indication as to better horsepower or MPG? Do you have an aftermarket intake installed?
