    Default ls6 cam

    i have a 4.8 that i want to full bolt ons and cam and tune.my question is if an ls6 cam is worth the swap i dont want to waste a lot of monye on a peformance cam swap because i want to swap for a 5.3 or 6.0 later on down the road

    It depends on how you use your truck, since the LS6 cam is for horsepower and not designed for the same torque curve you may kill your driveability on the road but be killer at the track since it takes torque down low in the RPms to get that truck moving and maintain some fuel economy etc.
