Default Weathertech Cargo Mats in a Yukon XL

Would like to now if anyone has had luck using the extended cargo mat (all the way to the rear of the 2nd row seats) while also leaving their 3rd row seat in the truck. I saw where there are cutouts for the 3rd row floor mounts, but was advised by Weathertech customer service that they don't recommend using the extended cargo mat with the third row seat installed. They recommended I get the "behind 3rd row cargo mat".
    Thanks for any feed back.

Hey there my dad has the same rig and he purchased both extended and non the extended with third seat was not the way to go so we returned it and kept the behind the third row mat. My dad keeps some card board boxes laid flat in the back so that when he folds the third row down he slides the cardboard boxes up to cover the back of the third row seat. It works well and protects the carpet well and is a cheap fix. Hope that this helps you!
