Transmission Temp Gauge...HELP!
So Im Buying A gauge Face For My 05 SIlverado Gauge Cluster, But I Was Wondering If My Truck Doesnt Currently Have a (Stock) transmission Temp Gauge, And The New Gauge Face Does, Can I Just Add It With No Problem Or Will I Need Other stuff Done To Make It Work.?
Thanks In Advance. .

If you are talking about Adding the Gauge Face overlay that lays over your Stock Dash cluster gauges.....then no the Trans Temp Gauge will not work.
The 99" to 07" NBS Silverado's are Pre-Wired from the Factory for the Transmission Temp Gauge...and what you would need to do is buy a Escalade or Denali Dash Cluster as they both have the Trans Temp Gauge in the their Dash Cluster,
Buying a Escalade/Denali......is a Plug-n-Play.....with all a gauges working, including the Trans. Temp Gauge.....One item that Needs to be done.....and that is the Mileage needs to be programed into the New Escalade/Denali Dash Cluster,
You would need a Escalade/Denali Dash Cluster from the same model year as your truck.... 03" to 07" Model years
Here's the Escalade Dash Cluster in my Truck,
