Thread: Skewed Wishes
11-14-2010, 01:23 AM #1
Ok guys and gals, here's the deal if you've never played before.
Someone posts a wish, the next poster grants it but it's a corrupted wish. That poster then wishes and it continues. So for example:
XX said: I wish I had a peanut butter and jam sandwich.
YY said: Granted, but it's actually peanut butter and toe jam.
I'll start off:
I wish the dog cleaned up after himself in the yard.

Granted but before he leaves office he passes bills that force the country into an irreversible socialist state of affairs. (more likely to come true)

Granted, but car quality being inversely proportional to car qarranty quality results in having to rely on those better warranties more often. The net result is that you actually spend more time getting it fixed (for free) ... which is less time doing other things with the vehicle.
I wish that I could teleport to locations I envision, like the main character in the movie 'Jumper' could.

Granted: Now once you begin to teleport everywhere, eventually you'll begin the teleport everywhere without your consent much like the movie 'click' where the main characters life begins to fast forward out of control. Plus if you get the option to teleport you won't have use for your truck anymore so that's it's own reason in itself..
I wish that traffic would never have existed...

Granted.. by traffic no longer existing, neither do your vehicles.
I wish It was a nice 65 degree day, and sunny.
