    Default noob from athens ohio

new here i got my 2007 silvy a few months ago and its a flood truck that ive been rebuilding. love the truck ive fixxed it lifted it and put some 32.5s under it and shes my baby now. shes still getting random finishing rebuilding things done to her but for the most part shes done. current things done to the truck is spacer lift in the fron add a leaf in the back and Nitto Terra Grapplers for tires.
got a few ?s about the truck too.
1st is any way to get the traction control to completely shut off?

my second is my v4 mode only goes in when im going downhill is there any way to make the truck stay in v4 mode while cruising on a level road? you have to be going 40 for it to not stay in v8 mode unless youre coasting down a hill. i just feel it should be able to drive in v4 mode.

Welcome to the club. I'm sure a Diablo Preditor programmer will turn off the T/Control on your year truck. Also it can turn OFF the DOD but I've never seen anyone ask about leaving in V4 mode. Check with DiabloSports website for what the Preditor can do for your year truck.

    Welcome the forum!

To turn off Traction control, hold down the traction control button that should be located around your stereo. To turn off stabili-track (or whatever it is), hold down the same button for around 15 seconds. Your dash cluster will display a message that traction control is off, keep it pressed without letting go, and then it will tell you that stabili-track is off. It will reset every time you turn your car off and back on, though. So you'll have to do this each time you get in the truck if you want it to be that way every time you drive.
