98 tahoe clicking noise from front end ???
Ok so I have a 98 2dr tahoe and sometimes when i increase speed it has a loud clicking or clunking noise that comes from the front end... more towards the right side i think. I can feel it to a little bit in the floor. The sound is rotational. most of the time its only when going up a hill but its not limited to that
any ideas? anyone have the same thing?
I know we got some GM techs on here hope some will come forward haha

I'm going with engine/transmission mounts at this point, with flex plate as my standby......
I doubt it's CV shafts, unless it's in 4wd.
Does the noise go away when you stop accelerating? When you hear hoofbeats, look for horses not zebras.

ok sorry for not giving more info. it is 4x4. and it has new cv shafts, new wheel bearings, new front calipers pads and rotors, new ball joints... all as of june. we just got the truck and i think the previous owner did all that to try to fix the problem. (f*ck*r left this part out when i went to buy it.... he told me later about replacing all the parts)
when i stop accelorting it usually stops. I aqm 99% sure its coming from the front. even heard it once from outsite the vehicle. and it usually only happens when i am going straight.
When i first heard it, i thought it was the stock center huds on the stock rims because they didnt fit in tight and snug. but now i have aftermarket rims on and still hear it.
