Default 1999 gmc sierra heater making noises in dash

Hello, I have a 99 gmc sierra ext cab and just the other day it started making noises coming from inside the dash and the heat and air temp controller like stopped working. Even with the heating and air switch off truck running you can hear something moving
back and forth it sounds like some door or something. Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this problem.

Sounds like your blend door may be acting up, i would try and pull the HVAC fuse and let it reset and see how it goes from there.
