    Default rear view mirror temp

I've had this suburban for just over a year. I just noticed that there is a button to show the temperature on the rear view. I pushed the button, but it didn't work. Any ideas as to why this doesn't work?

It is possible they just installed the mirror and didnt install anything else, or else you may have a blown fuse to it. Another thought is the power wire is damaged or the ground.
