Default 1997 Z-71: shimmey at low speeds...

my 1997 Z-71 shimmey's at low speeds after hitting a bump or two...when it starts shimmeying i have to pretty much step on the brakes to stop the action. this isn't a wheel balance problem, but i don't have a clue as to what's causing it!!

    thanks!

When its bad enough to have to stop its usually more than one front suspension part. As pychokenny said idler arm and ball joints plus pitman arm, tie rod ends. If there factory original I'd change all of them. Each part my have a little wear and when you add all of the parts together its alot of wear across the front end. Hope I explained that right.
