I was also curious if a programmer like a Diablo Trinity would allow you to set your speedo to accomodate 265s.

Well, since i already have the edge Evolution CS programmer i will see if it works, i am painting the dash pod mount and then i will install it. I am thinking that i wont e able to adjust to the tire size since GM did not put the paramiters in the computer to adjust for a tire size that was never offered for this vehicle. i wonder what the reasoning was for only offering the dinky little 245's

I would say yes because it does with the predator (which I have) and the trinity has many more options and upgrades.

Well , after the interior paint dried on the Edge Dash pod mount, i installed my Evolution CS programmer/monitor. i set it to level 2 (Economy-everyday driving) I then entered my new tire size (265's)
it appears to have taken the info. when i took a test drive, there was a noticeable power difference and the speed on the monitor was slower then the dash speedo indicated which means the edge is showing Real speed.

Congratulations on getting all this done so quickly! You may want to double check the tire size again, because with larger tires your vehicle speedometer should read slower than the actual speed. Since your Edge is reading slower than your truck speedo, something just doesn't seem right.
