20.5! That would be great. I have just finished my second full tank with 90% highway (60 miles round trip hwy to work and back) on cruz at 70mph and I have an average of 13.23mpg. I have the 2009 5.3 Z71 with flow master exhaust. I am putting the AFE intake on it next week and we will see what that does. Sofar I am pretty bummed on my average.
Anyone suggest how a programmer could help?TJ - Baltimore, MD

I just check it out yesterday 17.2 all miles were around town. I drive a 2007 silverado club cab 4.8 auto. couple yrs ago I built a couple or 16 plate dry cell Hydrogen generators. I ran them in a 95 Buick Lesabar 4.8 v6 I never got to check the differance in the millage but there was a noticeable difference in performance. One of these days i'm going to set em up in this truck and see if we can increase that number

Well.. brand new '10 Silverado Crew Cab with the 5.3 L 4x4 Z71 package... I have a 21 mile trip to and from work daily full of nothing but red lights... I average about 15-18 mpg per tank. Typically boils down to whatever I do on the weekends.

does changing the fuel filter, give you better mileage. I have a 2002 chevy blazer 4.6L 4x4 on the old filter the fittings are rusted shut. I think it is the original one.
