    My 2012 2500HD (4wd, 6spd auto, 3.73s) netted 15.2mpg (hand calculated) on the maiden voyage to my parents this weekend...about 250 miles of interstate across the mountains in PA...not to bad for not even being broken in yet. It seems to get about 13 mpg driving back country roads.

    I average 15/16 mpg with my 2009 chevy 2500hd with the 6.0L.

    my truck in my sig is getting 22 on the highway with 3.73 gears, i had a cracked head and was getting 14-15 so im glad we got that took en care of

    Newly replaced engine (5.7 TBI) in my '89 Burb w/700r4 is about 50 miles shy of it's first 500 mile break in oil change and it's currently getting 16.2mpg in the city. No highway miles for her just yet. Don't wanna put the extended steady rpm's on the engine that the highway tends to lend itself to until I get past the 500 mile break in. But I'm curious to see how well she'll do with some highway mpg's!
    The old engine was getting 9 to 10 in the city before it decided to give up.

    On the Tahoe's first long highway drive it averaged about 19mpg and since replacing on of the O2 sensors I've been getting 12 city. Fairly happy for the truck having 196,000 miles and factory transmission and engine with out any rebuilds.

    1996 Chevy Tahoe LT 5.7L V8 4X4 205,000+ miles. Built proudly at Janesville Assembly in Janesville, Wisconsin
    Basic mods: Lights all over, bunch of electrical work, and a couple cooling mods.

    I'm driving a 2007 5.3L Crew Cab 1500 GMC with 285/70 R17 BFG All Terrain T/A, a 2" Leveler, K&N drop in air filter replacement and a Ranch Hand Bull Nose Bumper Replacement. I also just put a MagnaFlow 5x11 muffler on it and I get about 14.5-15 city and 16.5-17 on the highway. I'm wanting to get better so any suggestions are welcome. I'm hoping when I figure out what the heck is wrong with my Bank1 Sensor2 wiring it'll get better. Any suggstions? I'm not a speed demon but I drive about 70-75 on the highway.

    Get it tuned. Also slowing down to 65mph on the highway from 70-75mph helps a lot too. Before I leveled my truck and put my 285/65s on, I would get 22.8mpg from Bakersfield California to LAX and all I have is a K&N intake. I made the same trip this last Tuesday and got 20.3mpg. This is going 65mph though and with LA traffic on the 405 freeway and all are based on the mpg average on the computer (resetting when I get on the on ramp and checking again when I get on the off ramp to LAX)

    I've got an '02 1500 with the 5.3L. I run the factory size tires with all terrains on it. It has a Specter CAI, MSD wires, Flowmaster Super 44, and a Hypertech programmer. On my 40 mile drive to work, which is mostly highway, driving about 75 mph I have been averaging 17mpg.

    I've got an '04 Silverado (sigpic) and I get about 13 city, 15 hwy. to the best of my knowledge/calculations.

    Current Mods:
    2" Rough Country torsion keys, Black Bowtie, 3rd brake light tinted, custom tint on headlight/turn signal corners and taillights, Tractor Supply low profile toolbox, 8000K green Xentec HID headlights/Fog Lights, Window tint, 285/75R16 Falken Rocky Mountain AT/S tires, Flowmaster 10 Series single chamber exhaust 3" tips.

    Got a 98 Sonoma. Currently getting about 24.5. I have the 2.2 4 cylinder. That's a combination of about 80% highway with the rest city.
