Get 8000k and then get a sweet color halo for daytime driving
2006 Duramax LBZ
4'' Diamond eye to 6'' tip
16'' ion alloy, 33'' fierce attitudes
Lots of work left to do!

The 8000 is too blue for my liking. I did consider the halos initially, but love the OEM headlights. They just fit. Not to knock the halos, they look good, but for me I'll stick with the stock lights.

Got 'er done today. Ordered my lights from vvme.com, and the install was very straight-forward. I had trouble finding good mounting spots for my ballasts. I ended up having to forego the harness since it wouldn't reach my ballasts on the pass. side which is under my airbox. I simply took out the fuse for my DRLs, and all is good. I also changed the high beam fuses to 20A (recommended was 15A). I'll admit it took me longer than most because I'm not inclined to do auto electrical work, but I was very happy with the final result.
I went with the 4300k's for my high and low beams, and they look great. I didn't get the fog lights because I may do a replacement or may upgrade to HIDs in the future. I tried to upload pics, but had no luck. My albums are over the max. As soon as I can, I'll upload.
