97-98 k1500 dash compatable with a 95 k1500?

Okay, now I know the 97s and 98s dash have two air bags, but that's the look I want... I'm not much of a fan of the 95s dash, but I was thinking, maybe I could use the 97 or 98 dash just for the second air bag look... is it possible to get a 97 or 98 dash to fit on an existing 95 dash frame? If so, is it too much work to go through and not worth it? I really like the 97 and 98 dash, so I probably wouldn't mind putting in the hard work, I'm just curious to know if its possible... thanks again you guys

How about a '96 dash, they don't have airbags, at least my '96 Suburban doesn't and they look pretty much like '97-'98's.

The 97-98 dash will bolt right in.. Just dont hook up the airbag... And Silver i think the look he is going for doesnt have the drop off where the cup holders are on the 95-96 dash..

Really?? I know that the C/K chassis had the same interior from 1988-1994 and then 1995 and 1996 had the same dash then 97-98 as well. With the 95-96 they had two cup holders and a dip where the second air bag goes in the 97-98.. i did headliners on 4 different 1995-96 Suburbans tahoes.. that is why i was saying.. But they are the same mounting points for the dash from 1988-1999 So there really isnt much trouble either way. and not dealing with the airbag i understand but what i think he is going for is the one smooth line the 97-98 dashs provide. and the airbag mounts to the cover and really isnt in the way and there is no need to hook it up...
