    Default how to remove a 95 k1500 dashboard??

    If anyone has ever successfully removed an entire dashboard out of a 95 or 96 truck, please let me know what to do... my dash is pretty banged up and I wanted see what I could do about fixing it... possibly replacing it.. thanks you guys!

    U will find there are two bolts on each side bellow the dash behind the plastic covers. You need to undo those, then there are 7mm bolts up by the windshield that have to be done. You will need to remove the lower plastic below the steering column, and unbolt the steering column. You will also have to undo the bolts for the wiring harness and unplug as you go. Honestly it would be best to get a chiltons manual... It really isnt hard but just remebering where everything hooks up can be. And just take your time..

    Oh make sure that you have a second set of hands, and just take your time because once you have those bolts undone your dash will be loose and the only things holding it in will be the wiring harness.
